I'm absolutly new to this and my last chick died for reasons unknown to me. I now havee two pretty partridge bantams and the smallest hen chick, Marley, has a very large lump on her breast. Is this something I ahould be worried about? I dont remember it being there yesterday when I held her. A little worried, please help.

Are you sure it isn't her crop? A crop is a bag-like pouch where their food goes before digested. Usually, it's on the right side of their breast. When they eat, the crop will expand and the next morning it should be empty again.

It will be gone if they don't eat tonight. I would take their food away tonight and feel for the lump in the morning. Also, return their food in the morning after you feel for the lump.
