I don't think that turkeys + chickens = instant blackhead. They just share diseases, so as long as blackhead wasn't introduced, they wouldn't get sick.

Yeah, I think it's actually caused by a type of worm (?) that chickens can eat without being affected. But a chickey can be a carrier and spread it to the turkeys

If there's any chance for food, they'll show up :barnie

Yeah :he

That's scary

I want um, I want Royal Palm Turkies

Turkeys are really cool! I asked my mom and dad if I could get a few and they said no!
Oh, that's good. I wanted to get peafowl but part of the reason I didnt was because of the blackhead. And I don't think we have space to build a separate enclosure for peas or turkeys :/

Peas are killers. *•* :th

What do you mean? That they kill predators or other birds?

They kill humans. *dramatic pause* :gig I'm kidding, it's just that our neighbor has a male pea (not sure what they're called) and before she kept him locked up he would stalk me when I was in the yard and try to chase me and my dogs. And he would come up to our front door and poop all over the place.

He sounds like a mean rascal. I used to have a neighbor who had a pair of peas. And they were never a nuisance. They liked flying into our yard but didn't bother anyone. I don't think they are all "killers" :p

Sounds like stories I've heard of tirkey toms who would take over a farm yard, chaseout the people who lived their, and when new people moved in, they actually caught a little girl and started atacking her. Needless to say, they got eaten
