I watched adult horse movies when I was little just for the horses, and now I watch them all again and it's like, "dang, that was really a badly made movie"

I love horse movies but the number of cheesey ones is ridiculous. They all seem to have the same plot "spoiled city girl gets sent to a reletives ranch and within a week becomes an excellent rider with a cowboy boyfriend". Like seriosly? It's so unrealistic. I can count on one hand the number of good horse movies I've seen. Mostly the classics. But I guess they know what their doing because I end up watching anything with a horse on the cover. Even if I know it's going to be awful

I love Heartland! I don't know if it's cheesey really but it can be over dramatic at times
