Mac & Cheese, please!

PAULA DEENS CREAMY MAC N CHEESE ---NOT IF YOU'RE ON A DIET!!!!

2 cups uncooked macaroni (an 8oz box isn't quite 2 cups)
4 T. butter, cut into pieces
2 1/2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese
3 egss, beaten
1/2 cup sour cream
1 (10 3/4 oz.)can condensed Cheddar Cheese soup
1/2 t. salt
1 c. whole milk
1/2 t. dry mustard
1/2 t. black pepper

Boil the macaroni in a 2 qt. saucepan in plenty of water until tender, about 7 min. Drain. In a medium saucepan, mix butter and cheese. Stir until the cheese melts. In a slow cooker, combine cheese/butter mixture and add the eggs, sour cream, soup, salt, milk, mustard and pepper and stir well. Then add drained macaroni and stir again. Set the slow cooker on low setting and cook for 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
 
Be creative with your cheeses. My mom recently made some mac-n-cheese and it was wonderful. Sharp ( white ) cheddar cheese, and smoked cheeses ( can't remember what kind ) but she also added sour cream. It was good...

I agree, be creative with your cheese! I use a combo of Sharp cheddar (for bite) and Munster (makes it creamy and adds another flavor) they blend together nicely. Sometimes I do use cobly jack too, but only if DH has been nice

This is how I make my homemade mac & cheese, I make 1 lb of pasta (usually elbow macaroni) but I add 2 cups cooked diced ham then add it into a casserole dish & bake. It's a whole meal with yummy leftovers.
