Maddie the Silkie might be “Matt”

My approx 18 week precious Silkie has been crowing for a week and a half now. She is the only one of her breed (her “breed partner” died early on) so I have no physical comparison in my flock. These 7 chickens are our first and we got them at about a week old so we have so much to learn still.

We are beyond attached to Maddie so if she is a rooster, I need to know how I manage keeping him with my ladies. Rehoming is not an option at this point. Here are a couple of photos.
