Hi, first time incubating!
I just put my eggs in the incubator and realized it doesn't have a hygrometer. I ordered a thermometer with humidity guage that I can view from my phone but that won't be here for 2 days.
1. Will the humidity be ok for 2 days without knowing what it is?
2. How much water should I put in, even when I have the guage?
3. Anyone who has used this incubator and has any tips please let me know!

what area do you live in? what type of eggs are you hatching? dry hatching is typically fine for most areas especially during the first few days of incubation. you will probably want at least 1 calibrated thermometer and definitely check the temp in multiple areas of your incubator. I’ve found it to be helpful to use clean sponge pieces to better control the humidity in this type and most incubators. you will also want to salt test your hygrometer once it arrives. @Kiki can give you a link to best thermometers to have on hand and you can find a link to salt testing and humidity in the signature of @WVduckchick profile. Happy Hatching!

I would not add any water at all, until your hygrometer comes in. Definitely test it for accuracy when it comes in, as @muddy75 suggested.
The link to my article on humidity is in the Red link below. (If you are on mobile, you may have to turn your phone sideways to see the link)

good luck!
