Yep! And I have contacted/looked at the other places! The advice did not go to waste! The pricey eggs just seems to fit my situation best! Thats what I meant by no other options. I mean that I have weighed others out right now! ^^We gave you some good places in your other thread.
What price is more "sane" in your opinion? I can go back to the drawing board again ahahaAre they shipped or local? A buck an egg is kinda high IMO unless they're a special type
Definitely. It is a really good incubator, especially if you're just starting out. It also has a clear window, unlike the magicfly, so you can watch the hatch.Would you recommend the NR 360 over the Magicfly?
Yep, works great for quail.even for quail??
I did double slots with mine, and it worked great. Though mine were bob eggs, so maybe they're smaller/lighter?Word for the wise though, if you double up in slots, it's too heavy for the egg turner to move automatically. Had it happen and didn't know until day 6
Maybe. If I pressed the turn button it would after a slight pause, but it never turned them.if I didn't press the buttonYep, works great for quail.

Probably (minus shipping costs) 50 cents an egg? I know I agree with myshire's prices but can't remember what they are. I do locally a dozen eggs for 4 dollars for regular and a dozen celadon for 10 dollars. Including shippibg, I originally bought my celadons for a dollar a piece because they had a big two get one free dealWhat price is more "sane" in your opinion? Oh, okay. My mistake thenYep! And I have contacted/looked at the other places! The advice did not go to waste! The pricey eggs just seems to fit my situation best! Thats what I meant by no other options. I mean that I have weighed others out right now! ^^
I found when I double up it is not the weight, the eggs get wedged together as they roll into weird positions. But if you put a bumpy shelf liner underneath the eggs, they roll freely with no problem and stay in their part of the slot.Word for the wise though, if you double up in slots, it's too heavy for the egg turner to move automatically. Oh, yeah I had the shelf liner. Maybe that's why I didn't have any issues.I found when I double up it is not the weight, the eggs get wedged together as they roll into weird positions.
