Too high up to see properly, but I'm guessing Northern Goshawk. They're pretty common around here. In my language they're called Chicken Hawk...

I just googled the Northern Goshawk. Intriguing changes in plumage!
However, I guess if they eat your poultry, you'd be too angry to feel intrigued.

Yeah, they're very pretty! I've seen a juvenile up close, sitting on the porch. I generally like birds of prey, majestic and beautiful!
Not so much when they're flying off one of my dead birds, though... But you can't blame them, they're just following their instinct.

Our hawks are no where near as attractive. We have beautiful falcons that zoom around, but when I have babies about they make me nervous
