Mahonri's 2nd Annual BYC EASTER HATCH. Post pics of your chicks!

I am sad to say I am out of the competition. We have a hatch going on right now, so we are unable to open the bator to add eggs.

Good luck to all of you!

I have to get caught up on the thread........ did the form. Sent a PM........

Due to things going on here, I just set mine this morning. Now I wish I had gotten some FBCMs to set - we lost all but 4 of ours Thurs night.

I thought I would only have about 3 dozen to set

but ended up with almost 8 dozen!

Here are my pics from 7th-12th grade... I think Junior year was the worst for "big bangs"...

They were much higher at times and I even had the "wings" going on.. I just toned it down for school pics...

If I had been in Jersey I'd have been taking the jaunt to NYC to go to CBGB's back then...My big hair was a full-on mohawk with green and blue stripes...I know I look like Betty Cracker now, but I was a loose-cannon, boat-rocking, head-banging, stage-diving mosh-pit punk back then...

Glad I burned it out of my system and can be a calm mommy-type now.

A moment of braggary: My elder daughter took #1 STATE in Disease Detectives (think 'House') at Science Olympiad State Competition yesterday!! My younger daughter, Lyd'sZoo here, didn't place, but was one of the youngest competitors to make it to state finals. I'm so proud of them both! Yay, Lyd'sZoo!!!

My parents are from the Passaic/Totawa/Little Falls area, but I was mostly raised in central Jersey, Lawrence Township, right between Trenton and Princeton on Route 1.

First 16 years for me, and I'm always glad to meet someone from Jersey. Where are you from? (Don't worry - your secret is safe with me!)

Edited to add - Love the high school pictures!!!
