Unlike Mahonri, I did NOT get my yard mowed--which is a double bad because while Mahonri has grass, I have only weeds.

Even the devil weeds are usually ok, since the chikens and turkeys eat them, but they are starting to go to seed. And they are juuuuust tall enough I can't reliably pick up all the dog poop. DOH!

I suspect next week will be devoted to yard work.

It's cool in the house... down to 66... so the bators are working overtime.

DW made me shut the window in the bathroom. It's 44 outside.

Just waiting for Discount Tire to call and tell us the kids car is ready for pickup.... that and trying to get the 14 year old out to do his Saturday morning chicken chores.

Also waiting for Nuclear Chickens...

I want to take a nap....

Hello i just have quick question..... my humidty is 50% right now im on day 1 i know this is too high so how do i lower it

Got my raised bed dug out this morning. So now my raised bed is inground.

The snow is mostly melted except in the shade. Have the windows open (it's a gorgeous 55 out) and there's butterflies! Also the poison ivy is just starting to sprout again. Ah, spring!

DH is cutting up apples and carrots for the chickens and horses right now. He has decided that we need to chop up another apple since I am splitting one between all of the chickens and he thinks they should not have to share only one apple between them all. He may laugh at my chicken mania but he is a keeper.
