Actually, she is the sweetest broody. I haven't had a bit of attitude from her this whole time!

All my broody hens keep going broody in pairs and wanting to hatch out chicks together arrgggg!!!! First my two key west hens and now the olive egger and her buddy the Marans x split lavender orp. Why do they do this? It must be the sulphur well water lol.

Okay here is my broody pic for the contest...there are two broody hens with chicks in this one nestbox. No one wants to give up thier place lol.

LOL... wish I had a video, too but I suppose the memories will do. I am very glad the hen is okay. Its a few scratches for me but she was moments away from death. Can't stress how glad I am to have her back safe and sound. I really hate that dog but in a way I am glad she found the chicken and then I found them. I would not have given up my search except the sun was going down.
 
Here is a pic from a few weeks ago when my 2 Key West hens hatched out chicks together on the same day. At least they had the decency to each have thier own nest box lol.

Here is my broody with her 4 EE babies hatched 1 day early on Friday.

Our of 112 eggs we have 41 chicks. I had 41 Quail eggs in a borrowed styro bator and 3 hatched. Out of the 2 Eco 20's we got 38 chicks. I have to say the Brinsea has me sold after those results. Congratulations to everyone on your hatches and have a great day!
