We’ve been included in family group chats many times, simply asking to be removed from the group chat hurts no feelings.

I set my text msgs to manual load photos, otherwise it takes forever to get the text msg here - I have poor cellular access. If I feel I wish to see the image I tap on it and it loads. I rarely load images though unless I am told it’s something very specific.

Same here. DGS treats me like furniture unless he has some (to him) hilarious story to share about tech stuff, which to me is like he is speaking a foreign language. I just go, Oh really? Hum. And then what? I laugh when he laughs and he thinks I'm the smartest person in the room. Which, of course, I am.

I try and make certain my tech stories are comprehensible to people though...

Good grief, you tell me you got a job, but you don't know when you start or where to go? How do you expect to get to work on time? It's your responsibility, not your parents' to make sure you get there on time.

Fortunately my Geek IT son is aware that his mother is an IT learner (for the past 20yrs) so he and his father happily talk Geek IT while I ignore them.

He's often just not aware of me, off in his own internal world. Autistic. Not a problem. I enjoy the chatfests we do have, even if I barely understand a word, lol.

I’ve been getting up earlier for a while lol I go to bed earlier now (usually) so I can’t sleep past like 6:30-7:30 anymore LOL which was handy when I still had Brew but now idk

There are 2 kitchens, 2 living rooms, 2 laundry rooms, 4 bathrooms, and 8 bedrooms.
