I've got 2 6 packs collected for consolation prizes, 1 6 pack of Marans (cuckoo / blue/black/splash) and 1 6 pack of Easter Eggers (F1 Olive Egger project - Marans x Ameraucanas, cuckoo / blue/black/splash expected).

Figure 1st place consolation person gets choice, 2nd place gets the other 6.

Someone let me know as well who to ship to.

Okay, for my surprise report this Easter morning: I now have SIX Wheaten Ams!! PLUS two Mille Fleur D'Uccles! (And the wee something I don't know what it is because THAT egg wasn't labeled.)

NINE babies from my Easter Hatch - SO FAR. Now I'm really not giving up.

I have three that hatched out of nine yesterday, One that pipped and started to zip at the wrong end and didn't make it and 5 left in the bator doing absolutely nothing. I figured I would wait until tonight to candle them. This is day 21 so I want to give them the full day.

Bator spiked up to 104 during hatch, haven't seen a pip or a zip since. First nice day outside and temps in the house rose enough to overwhelm the incubators.
Think it zapped everything remaining,

. The two that were pipping/zipping at the time, one was a sticky chick that I had to use water to unglue him from the egg. The other one looks good, but is having trouble standing as it can't extend its feet. Have the feet taped up to keep them flat, we'll see if he pulls out of it. (Worked on my very first batch of chicks, that one did great.)

Think I'm done at:

1 Blue Ameraucana split fuzzy (sigh, that was an expensive loss, but got another dozen going into lockdown today...hopefully works out better).
3 Olive eggers (1 blue cuckoo, 2 cuckoo)
9 Iowa Blues (including the sticky chick and one with wonky feet)

Sigh. Pretty sad results (13/78 - 17% of those set, 13/68 - 20% of those locked down), but I am delighted to have a decent number of Iowa Blues to work with.

My humidity was too low. I have eight healthy chicks and eggbert is still in the bator. He was trampled alot last night and was leaking yolk this morning. It isn't looking good for Eggbert. I eggtopsied 5 eggs, all shrink wrapped. I still have 5 in the bator and one peeped at me.
