Ya know, we had one of his sons, nice bird but we didn't need another roo at the time. One day I was accross the road at my neighbours (about a KM apart!) and all you could hear was our 5 roosters competing for crowing rights, I felt so bad! We proccessed them shortly after, lol.

Now I realise my roo is at least 3 years old. I wonder how much that is affecting fertility.

Hi everyone been away for a few hrs and i had 6 pages to read lol well i did it i made the big step i bought myself a hova bator. i had one of those little ones that looks like an UFO that hold only three eggs just to test and see if my roo is doing his job those eggs are due in 10 days and all 3 are developing normal. i have it set up and getting ready for my first bing incubating adventure before i set eggs on April 2nd.

Just set your quail eggs 4 days after the chicken eggs.
