So, how many miracles did you end up with?

Yes I was wondering the same thing????

FOUR!

All three marans from my best girl that didn't die ( I had 3 of my 5 pass on after ingesting a rat that had eaten rat poison) and 1 Ameraucana and they are GORGEOUS.

of the other three Ameraucanas, 1 pipped and died, the other pipped internal and died, the other was a non developer.

So 4 out of seven isn't bad when they felt real cold to the touch.

She's taught them how to drink and she was trying to teach them to eat chick crumble. Fun to watch and when she see's me coming she GROWLS!!! I think she'll be a good mama even though she wasn't the best of broodies. I'm just glad I happend to go into the coop when I did or she would have left them cold all night.

I'm so busy at home and work right now I hardly had time to come on BYC for a few minutes. I hope that perhaps on Saturday after work I can get some pics.

Where do I find Kathyinmo and why is she gripping her eggs? What breed?

I just can't decide since I have limited space I need to choose carefully. I was thinking, maybe, Barred Plymouth Rock? I love really big chickens, feathered feet might not be so fun in the snow we have. Help!!

Wow, finally. I have been working a ton and spending time with the family plus it warmed up a bit so I could go out and stare at my new self blue bantam cochin trio.

So for my easter hatch since today my fiance said we have too many chickens. Not possible. I am looking for hatching eggs in the following breeds:

1. Jersey giants
2. Bantam cochins (self blue, black, barred and gold laced)
3. Call ducks or other bantam ducks
4. Royal palm turkeys
5. Guineas (any color)
6. Chinese geese

If anyone has any available for the easter hatch please pm me with breed, amount and pricing info. Oh and possibly pics.

Thanks!!!!!!

question at midnight will mark 21 days for the 3 test eggs and no peep what so ever do you think they will hatch soon and how long should i give them

It's really not a set time. I've had them pip at day 25. Don't make yourself crazy like I do.

Been feeling weird lately, so I post some and I just sit some.

Gave up on catching up, so we'll see how I do this time. Got lots of Marans eggs due the 21st. Don't think the AM egg from that 1st place bird did much, but shell is thick and eyes are tired.

WOW Kathy, I don't believe there's another place where anyone could find such quality birds of so many different breeds! Well done!
