Remember during the NYD hatch-a-long how we all decided we wanted emus? I have been busy making it happen since then. I just brought her home today. I am hopefully getting a couple more before the end of the month. She was the only one available now and I wanted to bond with her while she's a baby. She is a week old.

Mahroni - I emptied an egg out, put spicy brown mustard in it and the egg eater gobbled it up. Mustard dosen't work. Sorry. I did switch feeds and it stopped after a couple weeks. Not sure if that was the cure but no egg eating since.

Mary that emu chick is OMG ADORABLE!!!!! Ok I can't look at it too much or I will want one too. DH woud never understand
