Oh, and hubby candle the ones that our due next 2 weeks I think, and we got only 2 duds out of 25! Kinda hard to see with the duck eggs though.

So, can anyone tell my why on the first hatch of this year in January, I got 100% hatch, the second only 2 out of 12 hatched, and now it looks like over 90$!

Maybe "Sergeant Pepper" doesn't like doing it in the snow?

It is warm here. The citrus trees are in full bloom outside my bedroom window. The mesquite trees are blooming also - round yellow puffballs making the air all soft with scent.
Not bragging - just wishing I could share it with you all.

I just wanted to say... holy crap! I've got my first seven chicks at 12 days old, just registered to this site today, and now I really really want to get some eggs so I can hatch some cute fuzzies myself! I had NO idea this was going to be so addicting! Maybe next year I can join in on the hatching--good luck everyone!

We brought home our new girl yesterday. We've been waiting for her for a while. She is just now 8 weeks old. 3/4 Dane 1/4 lab mix

So I ordered the heat element, fan, and thermostat yesterday and today I went and picked up a sheet of 3/4" plywood and some 1x3's....I'm going to make a BIG incubator so y'all better WATCH OUT!!!
