Okay, everyone, I'm having to find room...I chucked a ton of eggs into someone else's Sportsman the other day, and just realized I've got a bunch more a few days old that I don't want to ship...and if I can't sell, I MUST HATCH!!!

So it looks like I'll be running an rcom, a Hoveabator, 2 LGs and a Sportsman, and while I've eggs in each of them, I don't think I can consolidate much...gah!!

yotetrapper, I m a little concerned; out of 36 eggs taken from the Cornish pen a little over 3 weeks ago, none developed. I had cracked a doz from that pen since setting those and selling around 8 doz more for eating, and they all looked fertile. I cracked 6 more open this morning [one a double]; two definate halos, two that made me scratch my head and say "maybe", the rest [including the double] were undoubtly not fertilized. Shoot me a PM or EM if you're thinking they're too risky to set for this hatch.

Out of the 42 set March 5th, 5 of the 6 shipped Lav Orps are all that's in lockdown. I am happy the shipped eggs are doing so well!

Well I may be in a pickle. My husband wants us to come and visit him next weekend. (He is working in Texas) Anyway he has no idea about the eggs in the incubator or the Easter hatch.

How am I supposed to set eggs if I am not home? I guess it is a good thing that my dad will egg sit while I am gone.

SCG - those eggs are delightful!
Everyone else - beautiful chicks, rapier wit - but wow you are all hard to keep up with. I am reading along even if I am not responding to all that delights my eye and mind!
