Starting to collect eggs for the hatch. Every one of my BLRW girls laid today. 5 down, 20 to go! If this continues I may be able to put some up for auction!

Mahonri, I'd like to offer a $25 gift certificate as a prize for the first chick hatched BEFORE the target time, all the usual proof/pics and whatnot.

This can go toward my eggs or birds in any auction running on BYC in the future.

This is what I got in the mail today!

Six perfectly beautiful Bourbon Red turkey eggs from Lotsapaints! Thank you!

Denny shipped the eggs in one of those foam blocks and they are wonderful. Not a scratch on them. I have them resting tonight and they go in the bator tomorrow!

Mahonri glad to hear your boys made it to HI safe and sound. Always a little nerve wracking when your kids fly even though it is the safest mode of transportation. I bet they will have a wonderful time there. Congrats greeneacre on the new layer! DH is laughing at me about the turkey eggs (yes he knew before today

) but he did think that the eggs looked cool with all the speckels on them.

DS#3 just called.... said they just landed and that it was 11:40AM there. Wow... 6.5 hour flight. I didn't realize that it was that far away... but I suppose DC is almost that far from Phoenix and we flew there last summer. (5 hours)

I will probably never lay eyes on Hawaii, but I'm a home body anyway.
