I had to get mine set due to shipping / arrival dates. So my hatch is successful (BLRW & Brabanters) will be more like passover peeps.

not sure if Hovabator or LG. I saw them in sale paper........ DH has taken it with him though......I cannot find it.
I am gonna guess LG. Probably still air which is what I use anyway

and I guess I should have said a FOURTH bator... of course #1 is oldest and needs a wafer still

DH prefers #1 (hovabator) & #2 (hovabator) and have turners for that one.
I prefer #3 (LG) with no turner

None of ours have fans.
We have always had good hatch rates from our own eggs or eggs we pick up locally
Shipped eggs is a different story......of course to me that is what makes it fun

So CCB - How'er the eggs I sent you?

Oh, I candled my eggs on day 5, and I was able to see good enough to tell what was alive, and what was dead....I'm dying for you to candle!!!!

Well I imagine more than 3,000 will be set. If everyone were setting as many as me there would be over 12,000 eggs.

... and that's a whole lot a chicken!

Can someone bring over a huge pot & threaten my silkies?

IDK what happened to those ladies. 4 should be laying. A bunch more should start laying sometime in April. I am getting NOTHING

I wanna hatch my own eggs - not keep buying eggs!

Well Laree, there will be 18 eggs here waiting for you whenever you can pick them up.

The girls did good today... only 3 yesterday and 10 today.

You'll get a good ol' Mahonri Mint Chocolate Mix...

3 FBCMs
12 W/BW Ameraucanas and
3 EEs of different types.

I'm selling one of the last of my FBCM roos from the New Year's Day Hatch on Tuesday and I'm going to try and introduce the 13 week old Marans pullets and the two young roos to the rest of the marans group sometime this week... I usually don't mix until at least 16 weeks, but Vindur (my Icelandic roo-- Vindur means "Wind" in Icelandic), needs some space with his two girls and then the other laying flock interlopers. (2 CQs, 1EE, 1BO and 1BA)

Oh yeah... here is an old pic of Vindur... he's much more beautiful now.

I put about 200 in March 22, and I am putting about 100 into the hatcher for lockdown tomorrow, so I will only have room for about 100 this time.
