Anyone up?
I'm so upset and I'm not sure what to do. Been a long rough day.
Has anyone ever done an auction and then lost the eggs???? If so, what did you do?
I was giving my niece's friend a ride from Modesto, out of town. Had to take my grand daughters all over creation for prom stuff.

What happened was, I really never have anyone here. I'm weird. But the friend showed up and I ran into my room to grab my shoes and keys and heard a crash and a aaaaaaawwwww from the kitchen. I've had an auction running and it included eggs collected from Sunday till today (I'm only hatching OEs and BCMs for this hatch) and the auction was over tonight. I thought I'd be home at 4pm, so was going to go post about the 3 yr old that decided to grab the carton off the table, but it was over before I got home.
I have an incubator full of eggs on that table. When I heard the noise, it was the only thing I thought about. I didn't even walk out of my room, just asked what it was. She say's Jenny dropped your eggs. I was sick walking in there and looked at the bator. Just fine. But the 15 eggs I had collected for the auction were scrambled eggs on my floor. I grabbed the last roll of paper towels and wiped them up and ran a quick mop over them. It was 7:30am and I had to drop my son at school and then all the other things. Just got in and had to add water to brooders for 5 minutes just in the door.
When I dropped the friend off, she offered to buy me more eggs and then it hit me. Those were the auction eggs. Thing is I didn't think I had anyone bidding on them, so was a little relieved but wantd to post the problem before it ended.
I tried to get everything done and back in town (also had to grab youngest grand daughter to babysit) but the day was crazy. Drove Grand daughters to work after prom stuff, but my SIL was stuck in traffic behind a wreck, so was stuck there until someone showed up for the baby. They don't have internet at home just their cards for work and none at their house.
I'm tired. Getting a migraine and not sure what to do. I offered the winner the same thing and would start collecting tomorrow and just charge them shipping, but haven't heard back. Need to find the Tums.
I only got one of the auction eggs today, after the fact. The ones I'm saving for this hatch are different. Oh.................I'm so stressed
