Still no second box of eggs. No Barnevelders.
I messaged the
eBay seller to ask after them and request my money back if they won't be here tomorrow. I can't stagger my hatch on the first go. I'm new to all of this and, of course, wanted everything to go perfectly. I didn't order from a BYC auction because I didn't want to wait until the last minute and be limited to what was offered and I didn't feel comfortable enough yet to PM folks. So, I decided to buy from other places and get everything set to be mailed and arrive in time to set this week and hatch while I'm home on spring break from my job but after my paper is due for grad school... Of course, this past week, I saw at least three auctions on BYC that I was nearly dying to bid on. Ah, well. The best laid plans. So it goes. At least I have 21 eggs in the tub! That should be fine for my first hatch.
In other news:

But it's great that people were interested and there will be other auctions.
- Mahonri et al., the soap titles were beyond hilarious.
