Mahonri's 2nd Annual BYC EASTER HATCH. Post pics of your chicks!

SCG... we could NOT do this thread without you!

You are awesome!

Can you believe I had to start a fire in the fireplace to warm up the family room?

We haven't had the heater on since early February and we aren't turning it back on now.

It's 45 degrees out there right now and still raining!

My tomatoes will be so awesome this year.... The plants are GIANTS right now... I just pray it doesn't warm up to quickly.

I need some advice from those that use the Brinsea Eco 20. I have 7 out of 9 Silver Laced Brahmas from Medicine Man's line that will go into lock down on Monday night. I've been trying to keep the humidity a little higher because the air cells are really large because of shipping damage. I have both water wells full now and the humidity is still only 45-48. How will I get it higher for hatching and keep it even without having to open up the bator to add more water? I figure I can put a new wet sponge in and put a tube through the vent hole to drip water into the sponge. Is that what you guys do? Any other tips? This is my first time using this incubator, I'm not that happy with it, wish I'd gotten a 1588 instead. I really don't want to mess up this hatch!
