Laree your duccles are adorable! I would love to be "Elite" and have duccles but I really do think DH might notice that the "chicks" look really different

Good Morning to all!

Daily countdown time.

We have made it 12 days and we have 9 days to go!

Not the strangest place but strange for my girls... in the shed, in a waterbucket. And one girl waiting her turn. Hen #1 has been laying in there since Sunday and yesterday I found 2 eggs in the bucket.

My contribution to the "strangest place a hen lays". By the time we found her nest she had laid 24 eggs in there. The most beautiful pile of blue eggs I'd ever seen. Not knowing there would ever be a contest such as this, I neglected to take a picture of the eggs. PLEH!

Mornin Easter Hatchers!!!

I wish I could contribute more!!! I usually play catch up every evening and yall are such a great group of folks!!

Candled last night (Was adding eggs to the bator so I figured why not.) and tossed 5 more. 1 blood ring and 4 clears. A couple OE's, a couple Dels and only 1 Speckled Sussex! I should finally have some nice SS chickies runnin around with this hatch
