You are a poet.... do you need me to pick you up at the airport?

I'll miss the chicks, but I know they'd have a better home in CA.

kimshimert it depends on a lot of things as to if 80% is too high. I found out on this hatch for the conditions where I live, 75% works A LOT better than the 65% I was doing on my last two hatches. It depends on how much moisture the eggs evaporated during the incubation, the humiditiy in the air where you live, heck I am sure that the altitude your house is at can play a part. Two questions for you, do you know how big your air cells were at lockdown and have any of your eggs hatched yet? If your eggs are hatching fine at 80% I wouldn't change a thing. If your chicks are looking "sticky" I would bring your humidity down.

Well if it's the only one that hatches before you leave... I've got three here for you to take back I guess...

No pips on the Marans eggs yet. . . It looks like there is one, but it's just a scratch. Gets me every time I look.

I ended up with 8 lavs, 2 splits out of 9 lavs set and 5 splits set....and
12 Easter Eggers out of 13 set.

I've read about 10% of this thread over the past couple of weeks and have no idea what is going on except for the PM's dsqard has been sending me about her hatch.

Have eggs ready to go out on Monday if we have a clear ("winner???") of the worst hatch by then.....someone help me keep up!

Have a blessed Easter everyone!
