16 (i think) out and several more pips! So hard to see through the door of the sportsman. But so far looking good

Not technically due until right around now, I set them late in the day.... so I expect lots more fuzzy butts in the bator in the morning

My hatch is over.. Could have been better, could have been worse.... Here is the final hatch tally...

3 Lavender Orpingtons hatched
20 EE's hatched
22 my own mix hatched
24 from a friend's mix

Hmmm... I just realized I can't count chicks.. I know the eggs were counted correctly so I guess I have 69 chicks, not 65 as I thought.. lol... Not sure if I can change the entry for % hatched but will try so it's correct... Not like it matters since I don't have the highest or lowest... Anyway, I do have a cutest chick pic..

This little chick stole my heart when it hatched against all odds... She (hopefully) hatched on her own with a crossed beak and only one eye.. Many people would have culled but she has the will to survive and as long as I can teach her to eat, I will keep her and give her the extra attention she needs...
