I actually got chicks this Mahonri hatch, so I feel like a winner. LOL

I have eggs from yesterday and there's egg song going on right now, so just need to know who gets them and where they go.

As for my hatch, I set 21. 18 went into lockdown.

5 Hatched

4 were DIS

The rest were either early quiters or didn't start, but all were fertile

I have lots of BCMs to set later tonight too.

Seems I get just one or two of them to hatch each time, so I have different ages in different brooders. Gonna be fun getting them all cooped together soon.

This has been GREAT FUN. It has been the best to hear stories from so many of you.

There has been SO much that I cant even think of most of it.

There have been so many bad things, eggs that did not hatch, deaths in the family, people playing with bobcats, people having accidents (automotive and fof course Mahonri falling while hiking and others also), people that have been sick, and so many other bad things.

There have also been alot of good things, LOTS of new fuzzy butts (for most people), people getting to meet each other for the first time, people that have new chicken breeds, people that have new chicken equipment.

This bunch of people have become like a second family to a lot of us. It was fun to get online and see the next chapter in the story.

I never really considered my self a contender in any of the competitions and just wanted to join for the sake of joining.

It has been a blast about hearing from people from Ireland, Austria, Canada, and of course all the people in the USA, (sorry if I missed anyone).

As this thread falls down the pages, I am so sure the the NYD hatch will be bringing alot of us back together again.

I have learned much from so many of you, I just want to say "THANK YOU"

Final count for my Easter Hatch: ALL EASTER EGGERS, set 45 eggs, locked down 37 eggs and had 28 hatch.

I wish everyone VERY, VERY, VERY good luck with their birds.

I will continue to follow the thread as long as people are posting, I just wanted to give everyone an ideal how much it means to a Chicken farmer from Talbott, Tennesse.

Thank each and every one of you, " IT HAS BEEN FUN"
