They sure would make a great calendar!

Reminder for those that may have missed it ...
Week # 1 contest ......

Post your best "calendar picture." That is, if you were to have a poultry calendar, this could be a picture on it.

ONE picture per person. Only Mahonri hatching mates for this contest...

Deadline .... one week ... Dec 19 (next Sunday) 10PM Central time.

I will find a few judges. I will make a BYC page with the pictures.

Prize: 6 month GFM or 2011 Calendar, from me.

Contest pictures will be posted here:

OMGoodness this thread is a runaway train!
I know I am late posting but - I was distraught when I received the second box of shipped eggs - and it too was a mass of oozing egg yolk and white. This box was very well packed so it certainly wasn't the seller's fault. THANK YOU USPS!
So, two shipments of eggs and - 24 eggs set.
light sussex - 11
bantam campine - 3
pumpkin hulsey - 4
marans - 2
silkies (from my hen) - 3
mystery egg (bonus from seller)- 1

This is my Rhoda RIR, with her comb fashionably flopped.

Now, catching up, here is a shot of the FIRST set of eggs in the 'bator on 12/11 at noon(ish) .... I was a few minutes late...

All neat and tidy. Then I thought, hey, maybe I CAN stack the rest of the TJ's dozen, and maybe one of MY girls' eggs, too!
So I did.
