Mahonri's 2nd Annual NYDHatch, watching them grow...

Mrs. Fluffy Puffy :

Question: Why is my name on the list? Mrs. Fluffy Puffy
hu.gif

And why does Mahonri have an number of eggs over everybody else? Such as:
Mahonri: 85
Mrs. Fluffy Puffy: 25

Or what ever -

Because he is crazier than the rest of us. I only have 17 set.

I am going to candle on Day four and recommend Mahonri do the same for the Icelandic's. They are white and it is very easy to see veining by Day 3 or 4. That way he can throw out the duds and make room for the keepers.

I'll do it on Wednesday... then I suppose we'll know better.

We have our thermometer sitting on top of the canning jar we are using for a heat sink-could you do something like that? Good luck!

No room , I rearranged with the digital at the front of the turner where there is room and I see others put theirs . The old school is riding on top of the eggs ; it reacts quicker to temperature change and I will shoot for a little over 100 . It was running very stable before adding eggs , I know it takes forever to restabilize after having the top off , so I will not worry .

In the mean time , my half grown pup that knocked my competer over this morning and has been outside already to relieve himself , decided to go again in his crate shared with his mother . She, still being motherly , cleaned up the wee ............. which made her sick .
Having forgot to eat breakfast myself , I cleaned up the mess with nothing worse than a few gags [ along with the spilled water bowl and kibble bowl which now extended the mess onto the carpet . Febreeze is strong in the air right now , I've got a headache for some unknown reason , but think things will look better once I drink my second cup of coffe [ I'm running about a quart low on my normal coffee level ] and fix a bite to eat . All is well , or soon will be [ Or as I hope and pray anyway ] .

I am laughing, laughing and laughing. I have two little boys ages 4 and 5. They pull a lot of the same type stunts as your puppy. I just wish sometimes their mother would take care of the mess - then I remember that I am their mother.

Well, my eggs from Illia finally showed up (no fault of hers, thanks USPS

) and they are f.r.o.z.e.n. I literally almost dropped one when I unwrapped it, it was that cold. Super bummed.

Though I'm going to go ahead and set these with a few of mine just for fun, I have little doubt these guys are done for after nearly a week on the road and frigid temps down here. And though I'll totally be around for moral support, I'm just setting my 18 eggs today, so consider this my official resignation from the NY's Hatch. Bummer. Better luck next year, I guess. Gotta love Monday's.

On a more positive note, you guys are a total hoot! I love BYC!
