No on moist. I washed it off. That's why it is all wet. I was trying to see if there was anything else going on.

It is full of energy and running around, so I guess I will just wait and see what happens.

After my internet connection being down for 2+ days, I can finally post that I candled and locked down on Wednesday. I dumped 8 clear eggs and put 13 in the hatcher. This morning my first one hatched at 8:30 and another at 11:30. No more pips at the moment...now going back to read what I've missed out on!

6 hours til midnight here. It isn't lookin good for me to have a chick at that time. I have 6 pips, but they aren't zipping yet.

Kathy, I agree with the others, I have had this happen too. Don't know what it is either but the chick will be fine.

Going to dinner now......have fun everyone!

I'm sure I'll have another 20 pages to come back and read. Can't wait for chickies to start hatchin'!

Five hours to midnight for me and I don't think I am going to have the midnight chick. None of mine are even pipped and they need to hurry their butts up! We have to go out of town as soon as hubby gets home from work tomorrow and we don't get back until Tuesday!
