Mahonri's 2nd Annual NYDHatch, watching them grow...

She will be fine....just give her a few days, it'll go down on its own. I had a mushy chick once that looked like that. He made great stew 5 months later

After my internet connection being down for 2+ days, I can finally post that I candled and locked down on Wednesday. I dumped 8 clear eggs and put 13 in the hatcher. This morning my first one hatched at 8:30 and another at 11:30. No more pips at the moment...now going back to read what I've missed out on!

Kathy, I agree with the others, I have had this happen too. Don't know what it is either but the chick will be fine.

I'm sure I'll have another 20 pages to come back and read. Can't wait for chickies to start hatchin'!

So how many folks are going to be here until midnight or later.......EVERYONE I HOPE!!!!!!!!

Five hours to midnight for me and I don't think I am going to have the midnight chick. None of mine are even pipped and they need to hurry their butts up! We have to go out of town as soon as hubby gets home from work tomorrow and we don't get back until Tuesday!
