I was just wandering over to Google docs to see if I could figure it out, but why should I dethrone the queen of all things data-entry? You are so good at it!!!

Before I fill this sheet out... Can it be updated? I would like to fill it out now, but I have some slow pokes that I am not sure are going to grace me with their presence.

I'm still hatching, so I'm not ready to enter unless we can edit it...I've got at least half the 'confinement' batch left pipped and still going.

Is this a preliminary sheet or shall we call it final results and only enter if we know we're done?

ETA: DANG, GIRL!! You are one fast cookie on that spreadsheet stuff!!

are they under a red light, that helps to keep them from picking on each other to much,

Thanks for the suggestion. I've actually had them under both a red and regular light (trying to get the right temp in the brooder was actually more trouble than the bator! LOL), and it did not seem to change.

Mahonri - You mentioned figuring out the pecking order, which they are doing as well, but the eye pecking behavior seems to me anyway to not be related to that. They just look at another ones eye like they do when they see something new and peck at it!
With that said, I am seeing much less of that happening this morning, so I guess they will survive with eyes intact.

I've seen mine do that , I think its normal , and none have ever lost an eye .

Great! Thank you.

It should be set so you can edit your answers. When I have some time, I will add some formulas to figure out hatching %. There is a link to hatching somewhere on BYC, which has the "official" math guides for hatching %s. Unless you all want to use some other rules. Just let me know.
