Man I am not envying the judges for the cutest chick picture! I think they are all adorable and they should all win! OMG I am tired. It is taking me forever to type this. I keep fat fingering the dang keyboard. I just checked the incubator and I finally have a pip on one of my lav orp eggs.

These are my shipped eggs and the ones I wanted to hatch the most. Keeping my

for all four of them to pip. I don't know if I am going to stay up for this one to hatch. Just don't think I can make it unless it starts zipping like crazy. Trooper is in there to keep it going! Mainly wanted to say, anyone who is still waiting on eggs to pip, PLEASE DON'T GIVE UP! I haven't heard a peep or seen a wiggle from the egg that just pipped so there is still hope!

I still have 2 in the incubator as well Put them in the warm water and they moved and candled and saw some movement so I am not giving up on them yet. Will let it go for a few days as my last hatch got busy with Christmas and forgot about emptying the incubator and a chick hatched 6 days late. when does the diehard contest close

That's part of the plan. Bill was a member. Unfortunately his post deals with a cemetery closer, but I don't like that one, so Bill is further away. Also going to see if his friend at the Vet Center can help me get something started, so I can do it with a non profit or something.

I'm still so sad since this little guy was just fluffing out when I found him there. He must have gotten really cold when I fell asleep. I haven't gotten a BCM egg to hatch since April and I was so excited about having another one.

to all of us that are still patiently, or unpatiently, waiting on eggs to hatch.. Looks like the "Die Hard Contest" is going to have stiffer competition than any of the other contests we have running... Come on babies, hatch for us!!

I have heard of "raindances", but does anybody know how to properly perform a " Hatch Dance" ?? Something has got to give, right?

I can imagine.. When I got to the cemetary to put a Christmas wreath out for my mom.. I looked around, and no other marker had anything on it.. I can only think that my mom was up in heaven saying, "Nana nana boo boo".. I had to think that way to keep from crying! I wanted to run to the store and get one for all of them.
