I loved my pekins... I just couldn't keep them in with my chickens anymore because of the mess. And with the coyote population, was not about to let them freerange the property unsupervised. The call ducks are adorable.. Would love to have some of those. But woud HAVE to make them their own abode for sure!!

All ours are all together but they have a HUGE coop area and a large pond.

I wouldn't mind hatching a few. I love them and no one around here has any.

Debi.... That was my problem.. I don't have a pond except for my goldfish pond. Nowhere near the coop.. and I definately didn't want them to get in that anyway..

Only my stupid chickens (Silkie roo and cochin) stand in the water. The rest just drink from it or stay away completely. They all get along really well. My pekin Chuck thinks he is a chicken. So Chicken Duck Chuck kinds stuck on him

They are already growing up so fast. Most have feathers on their wings and NOW ROOSTING?! I'm telling you, watch out for the turken takeover!

Ugh! One of my little Ameraucanas is fading fast. I have been giving it vitamin water and some cooked egg yolk, so far no improvement.

Did I miss anyone?

My first hatch was my favorite by far. only 4 out 20 hatched and I had the world's worst temp spike, 110F, but it is still my favorite.

My ducks knew they were ducks.. Funny thing is, now I have a rooster that thinks it's a duck.. When I go in to lock them up at night, he makes the peeping noises just like the ducks did.. I have to look twice everytime!!
