Ive collected a few eggs for myself this past week that I was going to put in the incubator today, but I wonder if I held them until the 11th to use as my New Years Hatch, would they be too old by then?

You could try I've read that the hatch rate goes down after 14 days but you can always have an experiment ...I'm collecting todays eggs from my Del/NH pen and giving them to a wanna be broody and then saving the other ones for me so I can send out new eggs to those who need them for the hatch....I'm going to have a full brooder as I have more incubating right now. I'm hoping to have 6 turkey eggs to set the 6th...I have 3 so far

I decided to put them in the incubtor, and Ill just gather some more fresher ones. I got 3 Ameraucana eggs today, so I think they might be picking up a bit.

I'm going to try to join in on this! If I can get a new incubator and collect a few eggs from my girls in time, I'm in!

Gonna use my own eggs since this will only be my second try at this and I completely BOMBED my first attempt! No more buying eggs until I have this down a little better.

Well my goofy duck keeps laying eggs and isn't sitting through the night now. She sat on them one night and then got up and ran around the yard the rest of the day and didn't want to sit the next night. There are 11 eggs in there now and I don't know if she is gonna sit or not now lol. I might just incubate them myself but I really have no clue when it comes to duck eggs grrr.

ETA: Tonight I found my freeranging silver laced wyandotte sitting on several eggs in one of dh's toolbox drawers LOL!! That's what he gets for leaving the bottom drawer ajar haha.
If she has babies they would be Blue copper marans x slw or silver duckwing phx bantam roo x slw. I put her back in the coop tonight but maybe I will give her the eggs tomorrow in her coop with something other than dh's tooldrawers.
