Mahonri's 2nd Annual NYDHatch, watching them grow...

Oh no, this can't be good. Poor Mahonri-one more thing to fret about.

I know. This fertility thing has me puzzled and freaked out too. We were going along just fine and then fertility dropped to about half and now to who-knows-what. A lot of the test hatchers haven't reported back so I do not know for sure what the fertility rates have been. I am shipping out two more batches of test eggs, one today and one next week then no more until fertility improves, probably in the Spring. I have not charged for the eggs and have promised to refund shipping to anyone who paid for the shipping. I stil feel bad. I think everyone needs a backyard full of Icelandic Coop Surfers!

Those Icelandics are gorgeous and you are so generous with sharing them.

Love the picture-the one on top looks panicked, the white one, casual.

I am so praying I get some coop surfers!!!!

Got two eggs today so far... nice dark Marans and little blue pullet Am. egg.

Don't worry Mary, I'll stack at least 10 or 12 of mine... probably the Am eggs so that if there is a fertility problem, I'll have replacements...
And Laree will be hatching all the remainder of my extras for me. She is an ANGEL. She has 3 bators so she is a pro and has been hatching Aloha project eggs now for a couple of years.

It's bizzare, but I actually feel less anxiety about this hatch now than I imagined I would have. Let's see how I do at first candle and the candle at day 18 prior to "The Period".

Waahhoooooeee! Two eggs pipped (if that is the proper term). However...the humidity has dropped to 50% in there. So...do I open the incubator and put in more water or do I keep my sticky paws out of there???

I always have a straw or tube leading into the bators where I can add water. You may want to quickly add a pad.
