Mahonri's 2nd Annual NYDHatch, watching them grow...

Ever wake up and one arm feels totally dead?

It's been 11 minutes and I can barely type. I keep moving it but it's like I have a foreign object on my left side.... actually it's just from the elbow down.

Now it's like someone is sticking pins in the tips of my fingers.... but still have no feeling although movement is getting somewhat coordinated.

If the alarm hadn't gone off, would I need to get it amputated?

You can all start singing... instead of Rudolph the Red nosed Reindeer, it could be
Mahonri, the one armed hatcher......

I'M NOT GETTING ENOUGH SLEEP!!

THEY ARE BLUE, BLUE, BLUE and that's what I meant to write!!!

THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL!... seriously in my mind I wrote BLUE.

YIKES!!!

Those kids that keep my up are going to pay!

Nuclear, sorry there were so many non starters in that batch of eggs. Don't know why. I don't remember what my percentage was, but I got 9 cute little white chicks from them, a couple with a black spot or two. Don't know what the brown ones are but the white ones should be a leghorn mix.

Did lockdown late Sunday. Thought I would not be as excited this time.....but no.....
checking every few hours, just in case I have an early hatch. More likely to be a little late though.
I have LG still air and the temp runs a little lower..............
Got my new computer just in time to send pictures.

Still unsure about the NYD hatch with the excetion of the one little swimmer.I hope it is my lack of experience candeling.
Got my first egg from the 1/2 English Orps.
Such a huge pullet..such a tiny egg.

That is such a cute picture. A perfect caption would be. "I think I will just sit here and wait for these big eggs to hatch."
