Ok People and fellow hatchers! I am locking down early!

Apparently some of these little boogers (Coturnix Quail) can hatch on day 16 and I start day 16 at noon today. I have a few serious wigglers so I am locking it down. I also have such a variety of sizes of eggs, some are tiny, some are huge and I bet the tiny ones hatch first.

Let the eyestrain and forehead stuck to bator time begin. Please Please let me at least hatch 1

They're somewhat similar, yet distinct from, Jitokko and Mapuche. They have slate legs, extra toes, a minimal crest behind the comb, and a lovely disposition. They talk a lot and have a chattering crow.

That is GORGEOUS! Actually from searching the net for a snowy nikkei, I stumbled across info on the mapuche and rapa nui. I have long been wanting to get some kind of "mexican chicken" - something more than araucana. The info I read there talked about birds being introduced from Japan. I am fascinated. And pleased to hear you say "lovely disposition" since for me no amount of beautiful makes up for an impersonable bird. I am going to keep doing my research. Hoping to add one of these breeds to our family.

I wish I knew what happened with my quail. I only see cats around here. Tons of dogs, but they clear my yard and take off when my Corso barks.

I had an egg rocking and peeping last night and this morning, NOTHING! No sounds, no rocking no pips. I'm concidering pipping the shells myself. I've lost to many in shell and this is driving me crazy.

What is happening with my hatches???
