Still nothing on mine and I am getting very jealous of everyone with babies. That mystery egg is driving me nuts and watch it be the last one to hatch!
1 Wheaten Marans this has to be a roo and he is HUGE, feathered shanks and feet
1 "Orange" Marans... it came out of one of my brown eggs but I don't know if it came out of Chooks Chicks or onthespots egg. Egg was VERY dark, chick is huge and has feathered shanks and feet.
10 FBCMs, 3 from my coop, most from Renee's
3 Icelandics. They are some frisky little buggers,
5 W/BW Ameraucanas... most from Halo's eggs.

20 total.... still not up to my goal of 30... maybe I'll get a few from Laree.
3 unpipped eggs in the hovabator, 2 FBCMS, 1 halo w/bw Ameraucana
18 unpipped eggs in the brinsea... 8 Icelandics, 10 various others. some are EEs from halo, others from onthespot.
I hope the brinsea keeps pipping... do you ever just have 3 early Icelandics and then wait hours and hours for the others to hatch???
How long can I keep the chicks in with the bator with the unhatched eggs (yet) before I move them to the brooder? One hatched out at 7:45 this am, can they stay until tomorrow with no ill effects?
I wanna see!! I don't have anything that could be orange unless you got some weird mutation. Show us a pic!! Wouldn't it be cool if you had a progenitor to a Red Marans line?

Yes, they will be fine until tomorrow. I leave mine in for sometimes 48 hours until everyone is done hatching. They can go up to 72 hours on the yolk they absorb.
