They are fine in there for 24 hours or so, if you want to leave them. You don't have to move them. It is best if they are dried and fluffy before going into the brooder, or close to it anyway.
 
Well, I think we just hit my guess on thread posts...

I'm off to RevolutionMama's farm to take care of all of her flocks at bedtime. I'll be back in an hour or so- hope the roads aren't bad. We went from 65*F yesterday evening to thundersnow last night and weird ice pellets all over- now it's a whopping 22*F.

Hope everyone has fun while I'm out there freezing my tookas off!

I've got 3 chicks so far and all from my barnyard mutts...

turken x turken = black turken cutie

turken x easter egger = ? chipmunky turken cutie

turken x unknown mom = yellow non-naked neck

None of my shipped BLRW have pipped yet.

I can hardly wait to get them! I will get them in a few days.... unless you want to deliver them, of course.
