Mahonri, I still have eggs in. I don't think they're going to do anything else, but I'm not confident enough in that to toss them and potentially kill some chicks, so I left them in just in case.

Thanks! I'm really not sure, but he's definitely a little looker!! I didn't see which egg it popped out of. But most of the babies were from green eggs. I had some that were supposed to be araucana/ameraucana from eBay (but they were all green, is that right?), and olive eggers from sonew123.

I LOVE the pattern on his face.. it looks like sunglasses! I was looking for interesting colors, and it looks like mission accomplished.

I think mine are all done hatching.. no more peeping from in there. I'll let them go a few days to see, just in case. None of the seramas my husband was so excited over..

I think I'm going to have to find him a couple chicks. Easter present, maybe!
And thanks everybody.. for sponsoring the hatch, running logistics, setting up and maintaining contests, and keeping up interesting stuff to read / look at.

I'm not much of a poster, but I love reading when I have a little down time. I think I missed a lot of posts, there were just too manyto keep up with some days, but always had something fun to look at when I popped in. Especially pictures! I absolutely love seeing everyone's pictures! I'm pretty sure this is the fastest 21 days ever.

For those eggs still cooking.. fingers crossed! To those whose chicks didn't or don't make it..

please try again soon! I'm rooting for your success on round two, and hope to see pictures posted! Just a hint, but... Chinese New Year is Feb 3..

Than k you so much for posting this. We used to talk about hatching for Bdays and all the holidays and my mind has been blank for months, so thank you thank you.

And if I get a late chick, Bill's Day was the 4th.

Now if I had just gotten one to hatch the 30th and the 31st for my grand daughters it would have been nice. Since the next GD is tomorrow and one after that is the 17th, I think it's Feb 3! LOL

Ok, I stepped in and helped a little on my pipped one. I chipped away a little fleck of what it had pipped and saw that the membrane was awfully tight around his little shoulder. I peeled back a good bit of the shell.. Enough to get it's head out. I saw a little blood so I put it back in the bator for a bit. I will watch it to see if it tries to get on out on it's own. I did wet the membrane a little so it wont dry out any further, hopefully..

If it hasn't progressed any by 10pm my time.. I may help some more. I just hate to go to bed and leave it like this.. My hatched one needs a friend!!
