Judges - I haven't much experience but what little I had I will share in case it is applicable. I have "helped" a couple of silkies out when it got to the point that I thought they wouldn't make it otherwise. The wierd thing is - I have two (both were helped) that displayed that spraddlesque behavior. However I don't think they had spraddle. I think they have neurological problems. With the first we did the bandaid on the legs and she did get better and was able to walk correctly. However, she still has odd behavior. Does a lot of flailing when raising herself, and when walking, does a lot of circles - enough that I can tell she has some issues. The second doesn't do circles but flails a lot although she also is walking well. They both seem perfectly able of living a happy life.
I just wanted to share in case this is the case for yours.

Wolftracks, Did you get lucky at the auction? I hope so. Probably because it was on my mind last night. I dreamt that I was at the auctions. Cannot remember much other than that. Might be the rains but my left foot hurts so bad that I cannot remember much about the dream.

As of 1:30 AM, my kids were still alive in shell. I haven't checked anyone today. What should I do??????????????????????????????????????????????????????

When they die, there is no longer veining, right? Just a blood ring? All had veining and some movement last night.

Yup NNX?? It was a surprise. I picked up Silkie eggs from a local farm. They do have 4 Turken hens. The guy there let me pick out the eggs I wanted that he had collected. There was one lonely light brown egg. He thought it was from his black silkies. Of course I grabbed it. So glad I did. What a great surprise. We named her (hopefully) Tennessee Tuxedo. OOO we will keep her even if she is a rooster. LOL
