Congrats to all those with first hatches going on. I remember how excited I was for my first hatch 7 years ago. I was 12 and it was my project for the Science Fair at school. Go figure, huh.

Love this thread and can't wait for the Easter hatch! This kinda reminds me of having children. When you are in labor you say never again, then you forget the pain and you are ready for another!

For the Easter hatch I am going to order one of these:

and offer it up as a prize for whatever crazy contest needs a prize! Those contests were a bunch of fun! I know featherz would love to win that prize!

Yes, for an otherwise highly skilled, professional, technically oriented, mature person, I can be childishly excited about stuff.

In all honesty, I have absolutely LOVED listening to the excitement, and waiting in anticipation! It has been great fun!

x3 the rest of my family, mom excluded, dislikes the chickens. I just can't help getting excited when my chicks hatch and calling everyone i can. Everyone knows when I have chicks.
