Mahonri's 3rd Annual, BYC Easter Hatch-a-long!

Have I mentioned that I did something really really crazy with my poor incubation history. I orded Icelandics! I blame all you enablers. I hadn't even heard of icelandics before this thread. So feel the pressure, I need to hatch this time!

Here's the weather forecast for the next 5 days over the pass. The pass I have to cross to get my eggs for this hatch. Well most of my eggs.

DD is visiting her fiancee in NY this week for spring break. His family owns a dairy farm and she sent me this adorable pic of a calf. Too cute

Now I must get to bed or I won't get up in time to get to work. Night all!

So I ordered some hatching eggs and miraculously they are going to all show up on Thursday. I wasn't really expecting them until Friday (the shipping estimate given) and had planned on starting them on the 17th (Saturday) for the hatch along. Can I swing the extra day of waiting or should I just get them started.
If you guys give the green light to wait, what do I do with them to keep them safe and hatch-able?

I am getting worried over nothing, I think. But my emu eggs have been sitting at the Sort Facility, since March 12, 2012, 8:19 pm, and that is over 24 hours! :barnie

ETA- The tracking info now says the eggs are in the next city over! I will be picking it up in the morning! :celebrate
I may get gray hair by the time 50 some days are over, and I am only 23! :old :barnie

:welcome If the eggs are shipped, I would wait a day or two before setting them, to let the eggs settle after being shipped. :)
