Mahonri's 3rd Annual, BYC Easter Hatch-a-long!

Uhm... did you monitor the incubator temps and humidity? Did you feed the ducklings? Take care of them? Moved them upstairs and down each day for their bath even when they got really heavy and big? Clean the tub after they'd been in it? Bought any food? Cleaned their brooder or their coop? Helped set up the coop? Came over when it was freezing to give them fresh water?

I know, people just don't get it. I tat (hand made lace) and a few other hobbies that take hours!!!!! People will look at something and say...........Oooh, would you make one for me?................If they're feeling really generous they might offer to buy the thread. What about the 100+ hours of my time?

Just candled a handful of my 30 shipped Silkie eggs (they travelled right across the country!) - day 6 - WE HAVE GROWTH!!!!!!!!!!!!! One little blue/splash quite p.o'd by the light. A little wiggle machine!!!! Both blacks are growing. Only 1 white but 1 is better than none!!!

That is exactly what was running through my mind I just couldn't remember the name of the dang story. Silly CRC.

SCG I can't imagine "hinting" to a neighbor to just give me something. Heck I wouldn't do it to a close friend or a relative for that matter. What the heck was she thinking?

I can't even remember what I sent you.

If you have a small green egg marked Frizzle NN then you just may get one or two.
None of the EE's are marked, but you said in the pm that they could possible be EE NN Frizzle. I hope I hope I hope! LOL

Deb, I have been wanting to learn to tat so long. Do you have any recommendations on books or anything on how to get started?

I think it could possibly be the highlight of my day to fill your 50 gallon duck pool. I'm not kidding. As for the little neighbor boy, he'll probably always remember filling your duck pool and watching your ducks. And when he grows up (or next month?), he might just get a few of his own since he's already familiar with them because of the cool Bird Lady neighbor.

You're more than welcome to come up and fill the duck pool! They also love to be squirted by the hose, silly ducks.

The kid is cute... he does love the chickens, even the one that tried to bite his fingers before he learned to not let anything dangle (that he wanted to keep) too close to the fence. I doubt mommy and daddy would let him have chickens, but in a couple years when he's more responsible I might have some help!
