Is your DS that is stuck in SLC for a while able to teach?

He is in a foursome. They cover 9 stakes in Sandy and one of the others is also a greenie visa waiter going to Mexico Puebla, DS#3 was called to serve in Veracruz. The two visa waiters can't go to the conference center this weekend, the companions can. I served for 25 months in Ecuador. I was 45 when our youngest was born...DW was 43. We had a microburst in Genola back in July of 1983, that knocked a huge galvanized granary off it's foundation.


He's heading for Mexico? Our son is filling out papers, and I noticed they asked where dad served. It was Canada..so, I'm guessing you learned some Spanish for yours? Where did you go? And have to ask, what part of Mexico is he going to? This is our baby leaving this year..I'm getting pretty nervous..my baby! Can't believe I had him at my age, but glad I did. He's keeps us young, and he tells us we are the best parents ever.

Nothing of note happened all weekend, except I had 8 or 9 of Boston Bryce's (formorly Mahonri's) FCBMs hatch, and only 1 BBS Ameracuana. I spent yesterday just sapped of energy, and read a bunch of cruddy books for entertainment.

Congrats on the FBCM hatch! Do you remember the name of the stake in Gilbert?... there are so many there now, it's hard to keep track.

This Morning I checked on the Genesis that is my Hatcher. Thirteen Marans eggs are in there with two thermometors. One is a Brinsea Spot Check inside a Water Weasel. The other is from Incubator Warehouse and has an Hygrometor too. The Temp was 99.0 on the Brinsea and 99.1 on the other. I almost pushed the botton the increase the temp by .2, but thought is this something Mahonri would do? So I left it alone.

Could that be a contest for the lockdown part of the hatch? What would Mahonri do?

I am curious to see what happens at lockdown...

Several posts about icelandics typically hatching early...This is my first time with icelandics...how early is early?

Typically, they hatch a day or two early. And they fly early too. Be sure there's a lid on your brooder
