Well my hatch is done and I will be going to report my numbers after this post. I am very happy that I had chicks hatch. After 2 failed hatches I attribute these chicks to all the wonderful helpers here on the thread. I currently have 15 live chicks out of 41 eggs set. Don't want to even figure that ratio, because no matter what it is better than my last two! I did have another chick that died in the brooder and one that never finished zipping. I think it was shrink wrapped, but not sure what that looks like. Eggtopsy shows some that quit around the 2nd week and some that should have made it out but never did internally pip. I had one that seemed like it outgrew its egg. It was jammed in that egg and I have to wonder if it had room to maneuver and pip.

Here is what I have

4 Purple Egg Projects (the two purple eggs and two of the project from Wolftracks)
4 Barnvelder (From PocoPolo)
3 Icelandic (I sure hope I get a trio out of that)
2 Cuckoo maran
2 Barnyard mix

Total: 15 chicks

I think my hatch is done. I ended up with 13 out of 35 that I set. 24 made it to lockdown and I had three pip and die and several of the eggs that I've checked had full grown chicks in the shell but never pipped.

1 Olive Egger (3 lockdown of 4 set) - shipped
1 EE/NN (2 lockdown of 2 set) - It is non-naked-necked

1 EE/BO (1 lockdown of 1 set)
1 EE (2 lockdown of 2 set)
1 Welsummer (2 lockdown of 3 set)

I will get a picture when my last one is done fluffing up. My EE/BO has to be one of my cutest, but it can not straighten on of its legs. I'm going to try vitamins. Can't splint because it does not move down at all. Hock joint is swollen. I've been massaging it and lightly trying to extend it.

I have an Rcom 20 that I use that was sold to me used and "working", however the highest I can get it to heat with all the adjustments is 93. Any idea who a person could talk to about getting it fixed? Right now I'm rigging some extra heat into there and it is far from ideal.

official 50 chicks 12 un-fertile 7 quitters, 16 shrink wrapped or dead the a few days before hatch

I am very pleased with my hatch of 34. I set 48. Mid stream I lost power and incubator temps dropped to 75. I toted all the eggs to a friends house to finish the incubation period then when it was time for lockdown brought them all home again to the hatching units. So after all that I cannot complain, I figure a 70% hatch rate is not bad.
