2 roos of unknown lineage. 1golden comet,2brown leghorns and 2 buff orps....nothing fancy BUT... i was admiring your phoenix on another thread....where did you get him????? (want...no...must have beeeeautiful chicken.........)

People try to steal him from me all the time.

I got him trough MM hatchery. I actually have a trio of them, I'm trying for chicks.

So angry w/ myself, though, one of my phoenix hens went broody and stupid, stupid

me tried to move her into a dog crate. Well, she completely freaked out, and didn't want to sit on the eggs anymore!!! So angry w/ myself about that, but I do have an Australorp sitting on a couple Phoenix eggs right now and

hopefully I'll have some chickies. Still too scared to use my incubator...will have to take therapy or something to get over that!

Hi Mainers! Central Maine here, between Augusta and Waterville.

I have been a member here for a little over a year, but had to rejoin recently as my profile vanished. 12 polish chickens, white crested blacks and blues. Nice to know there are other Maine people here. Any one going to Windsor Fair Grounds for the poultry show sunday?
