I got a clarification on the weaned mammals rule. this applies only to guinea pigs and rabbits, not other livestock that enters the food chain (sheep, goats, cattle, these can be bottle babies and sold without a problem)

Sheep and goats still need to have the scrapie tag?

the premium books have come out for the central maine bird fanciers show which is held at the windsor fairgrounds on sunday may 27th if anyone needs a copy of the entry form, pm me with your email address and I will forward it to you. you will need a copy of your NPIP test card when you mail it back in. that show will have tail gate sales. you need to be a club member or have a bird entered into the show in order to sell and there is a fee to set up ($10 i believe)

pretty good first swap for waterville today even though it was mothers day, plenty of moms came out and I know I sold some birds to be gifts for moms. what a nice day.

For the Skowhegan swap on the 19th, I will be bringing 6 White silkie chicks (10 weeks old), 3 unknown breeds hens about 1 1/2 years old, 1 Marans cross about a year old, and an Australorp (also about a year old.) I am also thinking about bringing a pair of Partridge Rocks, and a pair of Golden Laced Wyandottes, if anyone is looking for pairs to breed. (they are 10 weeks old right now)

will skowhegan still be 8:00-2?
