maine chickenstock!! pictures of the event!!

I planned on bringing 2 saw horses and a door if I had to- ha ha...I can find some wood- most certain of it to use as a table top.
Quite a few of the items I'll be bringing are ones that are at discount from stores. So a few items are not free, yet I do not mind donating them in the name of fun. I will fill bags with scratch, just bought some.
I just need DH to go back to work so I can sit down a make a few things, outside work just took its toll these last few weeks of vaca. Nothing like going back to work to relax!!!

I dont know what there are there for tables So I guess if you need a table you should bring one. I am bringing 2 and chairs and a canopy so in case we dont end up having a barn to sit in.

Wowsers, you all post tons in a short amount of time, hehe. Ok, so I am planning on setting up a food table with cold sandwiches, chips and other snacky things, and bringing coolers for cold drinks, planning on not having power, which is fine. We can adapt.

MM, can you give me a ballpark estimate of how many people are planning to attend? I mean, like are we talking 100, 200, 300, 1000, etc? I have to have some sort of idea of how much stuff to pre-buy and bring. I would like to avoid grossly overbuying and ending up stuck with 10 lbs of sliced ham or 12 cases of soda, lol. And I don't want to run out too early, either. Any guesstimate would be very helpful!

Did anyone have any objections to the menu ideas I posted earlier, or have things they'd like to see added? For beverages, I have bought bottled water and Pepsi products (so far I have Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Mountain Dew, MD Revolution, and Diet Sierra Mist). I can also grab Coke products if people have a preference. I will also pick up some juice boxes for the kids and will also add PB&J/PB&F to the sandwich list.

Yes, we will use any net profits, if there are any (we're driving from Winterport, lol), for our rescue. Donations are down, adoptions are down, and the cost of everything horse related is WAY up so we are doing all we can to raise money to keep this rescue going!

Sounds good on the food!

I'll see if I can grab my mom's table too - then we'd have 2!

Okay - what else can I do? ? ? ?

Just point me in a direction you want me to work on. Send me a flyer and I'll get some up around here.

Knight's in Augusta will donate a 25.00 Gift Certificate. They will not be able to be vendors, I even told him how well TC did in NH. (I teased him pretty bad.) But I told him we appreciated the GC. I will pick it up at the store before Chickenstock.

Does anyone live near the other Knight's store in Richmond (or near there)? Same name but I think they are owned by brothers.

I am posting a sign at Knights Augusta Wed. if no one has already?

You can call Knights in Richmond, I wont get there to post until wed. pm and I can ask then if no one has called.

I still can't get the flyer to open, majorly crashed and burned my computer last week, I am just thankful it is running. UMA computer lab wasn't open Sunday so I did not get to try to open the flyer. Have you printed them all already? I was going to try to add their name and Hemphill's somehow as a sponsor or something?

I will call the other Knight's store, I just like asking them in person better and I can't get down that way this week. I just thought if someone was near there that they might use them as their grain supplier and have a little extra pull

I know Rick at the Augusta, so following up with a phone call today was okay.
