I know having any kind of advance count will be hard, just looking for any number on which to base our purchase of food. If we have lots of leftover soda and chips, NP, we'll take care of those, lol.
I brought my 8 year old son and his best friend to the store with me and figured I'd do a little informal market research with them in preparation for CS. I asked them, "if you had to have a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for lunch, what kind of jelly would you want?" My son said, "I'd go hungry." His friend, "can't I have Fluff instead?" What ever happened to PB&J? lol When pressed, both agreed that if they were FORCED to have jelly, it would have to be strawberry, lol. I just thought it was cute.
If it's not too hot, I may bring my favorite pullets, two Silver-laced Wyandottes named "Gloria" and "Norma Jean" after the two female penquins in Happy Feet (because they looked like penquin chicks, hehe). I may also bring my White Leghorn cockerel, "Wee Man" and one of the WL pullets I call "Nike" because she's so fast. Maybe I'll bring a couple of our Cornish Rock meat birds, too.
